Maria Ramnauth and her children of Three Friends, Region Two, are beginning a new chapter in their lives following the official handover of a new home through President Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali’s Men on Mission (MoM) initiative.
The initiative has provided the family with a place to call their own, offering greater security, comfort and stability as they look towards building a brighter future together.

The home was officially handed over in the presence of Minister Madanlall Ramraj, Regional Chairman Devin Mohan, Regional Vice Chairman and MoM Regional Chairman Humace Oodit, Pastor Christiani and other representatives of the Men on Mission initiative.
The handover forms part of the initiative’s continued efforts to improve the living conditions of families across Guyana by providing housing assistance and support to those in need.
Established under President Ali, the Men on Mission initiative seeks to uplift communities and provide practical assistance to vulnerable families, reflecting the Government’s broader commitment to improving the lives of citizens.

For Ramnauth and her children, receiving the keys represents far more than homeownership.
It signifies a fresh beginning, renewed hope and the opportunity to create lasting memories in a safe and comfortable environment.
The latest handover underscores the initiative’s ongoing focus on strengthening families and communities, one household at a time.
